Job Description:
Under the supervision of the divisional director of theservice, the nurse manager has 24-hour responsibility for the effectiveimplementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of thehospital and the nursing department and their effect on patient care in adesignated unit.
The nurse manager has authority to make decisions on that unitin the areas of patient care, human resource, and financial management incollaboration with the Director.
RN, BS or BSN required.
Qualifications EPIC knowledge preferred Five years clinical experience preferred Supervisory experience preferred.
Supports the use of evidence based guidelines andorganizational policies and procedures to promote safe patient care and a safepractice environment.
BLS required ACLS preferred.
