The Student Employment Coordinator will support and guide students and supervisors through the student employment process beginning with the initial job description or job search through the creation of an online time sheet for the student employee.
The Student Employment Coordinator will also work closely with various departments on campus to maintain, update and streamline student employment information and procedures.

Process student employment information via data entry and running reports including:
Maintain listing of student employee supervisors Verify eligibility to work for student employees, new hires and rehires Process termination forms for voluntary or supervisor initiated terminations Assist with maintaining the SEO Workflow Assist with front desk coverage Assist departments to ensure internal Charger Link student employment position postings are approved Monitor compliance of student employment guidelines Respond to student employment questions and inquiries Process third-party student employment verification requests Provide information and end user training for the SEO Workflow Verify and document required employment forms such as the Federal Forms; 1-9 & W-4 Coordinate with Payroll Office to ensure timely and accurate processing of student payroll Assist with updating information related to the SEO on myCharger Assist with training student employees that work for the SEO Assist international students with applying for a social security number and other employment documentation by providing job offer letters for social security number applications and following up on social security number applications and submissions Process reports for the Financial Aid Office, department heads, student employees, supervisors and checks the reports for accuracy Work closely with Financial Aid Office to track changes to awards, eligibility and funding and redistribution of funds Assist departments with creating student job descriptions Other duties as assigned You need:
Associates degree in Business Management.
Human Resources.
Accounting or other related field is required, Bachelor's degree preferred Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel is required Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism Must be able to multi-task and work in a very dynamic environment Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate with various levels of management.
