00 GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The HR Assistant position will be responsible for recruitment, orientation, training, and evaluation of employees.
In addition, this position will monitor and complete disciplinary documentation and meetings including counseling, warnings, and termination.
The position will assist the HR Administrator in operational procedures, tasks and responsibilities required by the agency.
The HR Assistant will perform the assignments directed to sustain the function in providing employees and managers with information and services involving established processes.
Qualifications:
Minimum Associates Degree (Bachelor's degree preferred) or equivalent experience in HR or related field 2 years of ADP experience with Onboarding, Recruitment and Talent modules 3 years' experience in the HR field ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Works with the HR Administrator to provide a work environment conducive to successful programming and the recruitment, retention, and support of quality staff.
Works with the Program Directors and the ADP Recruitment module to facilitate posting jobs, sorting job applicants, and managing them through the new hire process.
Works with the Program Directors and the ADP onboarding module to facilitate a smooth hiring process of employees after recruitment to complete I9 forms, verify documents received and complete background checks (E-Verify, DDS link, etc).
Completes new hire orientation on a weekly basis for all new hire applicants.
Follows up with new hires on completion of all state mandated trainings within timeframes given.
Works with HR Administrator to develop, revise and implement standard operating procedures of the HR department.
Works with Administration and Program Directors on agency wide trainings needed.
Represents the Community House at outside job fairs, seminars or conferences as assigned by HR Administrator.
Ensures quality hiring decisions are made in a period that responds to the specific needs of each department/program, by developing a strong, open, and ongoing line of communication with the respective program/department staff responsible for hiring.
Works in partnership with program directors to clarify program positions needed and position requirements.
Reviews and revises job descriptions for approval to ensure for an accurate representation of the duties and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assisting potential applicants with the onboarding process when they are having issues or concerns with access.
Responsible for all job postings and advertising of open positions; locating new places and new ways to find the best people for open positions.
Coordinate with the Director of Development regarding marketing strategies for recruitment including ADP recruitment module as well as outside recruitment platforms.
Responsible for the development and implementation of the ADP Talent module; facilitating with Program Directors and supervisory staff on timeliness of evaluation processing, approval and completion of meetings.
Responsible for the sorting, filing, and updating the ADP iCloud module for HR's electronic filing system.
Working with outside sources to keep platforms to assist with the development, implementation and facilitation of modules the agency is assigned to.
Responsible for ongoing communication with HR Administrator to ensure that follow up documentation is prepared/submitted in a timely manner.
Monitors attendance and sends data to Program Directors as required by policies and procedures.
Performs employee counseling, meetings and write-ups (including but not limited to warnings, Personal Development Plans, etc.
) when necessary.
Monday through Friday:
35 hours per week.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
