APRN-Co-Director, Primary Care Center Of Excellence

The Primary Care Center of Excellence is recruiting for a full time Nurse Practitioner for the position of Primary Care Education NP Co-Director / Nurse Practitioner.
This position will have a 50% appointment as NP Co-Director and 50% appointment as Clinical Nurse Practitioner, dividing time between primary care clinics and women's health clinics with continuity and precepting in both clinics.
The NP Co-Director / Nurse Practitioner will hold a faculty appointment at YSN or FUSON.
He/she will address education for preventive health care, health maintenance needs and primary care to eligible veterans.
The COEPCE is a collaborative function with the medical and health care team in a learning environment.
The COE NP Co-Director / Nurse Practitioner will share all aspects of the leadership and management of the COEPCE with the Physician Co-Director.
The Nurse Manager/Firm A provides supervision for this position.
This is predominately a Monday-Friday day position but to meet the needs of the veteran population the selected individual must be flexible to provide occasional Saturday coverage.
Requirements and qualifications for this position include:
o Citizen of the United States o Possession of current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license o Possession of current, full, active, and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license o Current National Board Certification in the area of specialty, ANP-BC or FNP-BC o Educator with teaching experience o Meets mental and physical requirements to satisfactorily perform assigned duties o Proficient in verbal and written English o Current BLS Preferred qualifications are:
o Greater than 5 years experience as a primary care provider o Adult NP/ or FNP program completion, ANP-BC or FNP-BC o Academic faculty experience o Leadership in program administration Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Curriculum development and delivery for the COE o Coordination of all components of the School of Nursing contributions to the project o Collaboration in the design and implementation of the Performance Improvement and Outcomes Evaluation of the various components o Management of financial and human resource issues related to the COE o Involvement with faculty and trainee professional development o Scheduling of clinic and educational activities for NP Fellows, Internal Medicine Residents, Health Psychology Post-Doc Fellows and Pharmacy Residents o Providing operational supervision of the daily trainee activities and supervision of COE administrative and evaluation staff, fellows/ residents, space management and strategic and long range planning o Work with the Program Associate Directors in other training specialties (Nutrition/ Dietetic, Pharmacy, Podiatry, Psychiatry, Psychology, Rehabilitation Medicine and Social Work) to enhance and sustain the interprofessional activities of the COEPCE o Work with Health Care System leadership to ensure the sustainability of the COEPCE beyond the 2019 State 2 academic aim Collaborate directly with the affiliate schools of nursing faculty, VA PC Nurse Practitioner clinician educators, and community leaders to support excellent clinical skill development among the NP Fellows, IM residents and all student trainees.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
