As a family owned and operated full-service transportation company serving the Greater New Haven and Greater Bridgeport area, we are conducting personal interviews to hire a full-time Fleet Service Advisor based in West Haven, CT.
Job
Summary: Manage the fleet service and repair approval process, including the review of the technicians vehicle maintenance and repair work product. Demonstrate verbal, written and listening skills to professionally interact with team members and vendors. Ability to resolve customer concerns, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook) and possess organizational skills to plan ahead, and manage multiple projects.

Essential Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Maintain all vehicle files and records
o Prepare work orders and schedule vehicles for service
o Responsible for all parts invoices, inventory, and filing
o Prepares reports on maintenance and repair activities, and maintain vehicle service
records and files
o Communicate with service staff and management regarding the overall fleet status
o Resolve service issues
Required Job Skills/
Qualifications:
o Possess high school diploma or GED
o One year of parts or garage clerk, fleet operations, vehicle repair and preventive maintenance experience
o Experience with creating repair orders
o Customer focused with strong communication skills, team oriented
o Must have strong organizational skills and have the ability to multitask
o Responsible, Dependable and Reliable
